Offer Functional Hope so Niche Members Don’t Give Up Priorities, Beliefs & Goals.

Let’s continue this Doomtopian analogy. Environmentalists struggled with balancing priorities of life-quality tasks while preparing to leave & NEVER return.

Lifestyle maintenance is also hard while struggling with declining health. Pollution hurts, so permanently leaving = relief. Permanency feels increasingly heavy as environmentalists sacrifice possessions & time for perpetual progress while polluters enjoy life.

If environmentalists could’ve transported all possessions, emotional/physical homes would still be lost/taken by polluters grabbing “free” homes.

Sensitivities to pollution force environmentalists to choose prolonged physical/mental suffering or escape despite painful risk-related stresses.

Environmentalists know pollution can be reversed. Being response-able (Stephen Covey), they tried understanding when requesting cooperation, but polluters refused. Environmentalists reacted & united because they only control their actions.

Mental/physical stress increases until they develop abilities to respond by distancing from pollution.

Environmentalists’ responses started with comparing their situational knowledge/understanding to combine personal & business resources. Scenario planning started with proposed combinations & theorizing about potential progress.

Customer integration includes evaluating customers’ resources plus product specifications, so purchases bring step-by-step progress.

To “justify” grabbing possessions, polluters claim environmentalists left voluntarily.

Morale & productivity decline if people ruminate (react) about losses/sacrifices. Escaping pollution is positive & necessary because environmentalists couldn’t find/create positives to (respond) offset negatives.

Being response-able requires developing/testing circumstantial perceptions with product/method kits.

Advisors/retailers & groups can combine lifestyle elements with observations & achievements, then coordinate explorations into discovered opportunities. Advanced steps open discoveries for wider perceptions.

Offer Example: ‘Many retailers want you to ignore potential drawbacks & just spend money. (Store) is dedicated to (advantage category) creation & preservation. Let’s be sure you invest wisely, not splurge. Investments should relieve your stress. Let’s check what should & shouldn’t have happened so we can boost benefits & reduce regrets. Before you purchase, we’ll check whether (current version) is intact, so we’ll set appropriate goals to combine restorative & inspirational benefits.’

Which Are Worse - Changes or Permanent Effects?

Would people list many permanent effects as negative/losses? These induce avoidance/fleeing if people notice safer options. Ask, "If you keep ABC, can you physically/financially afford XYZ? Consider costs/hassles of tolerating & maintaining (result), do you want it permanently? Let’s explore options you want to afford."

If perfection were possible, would niche members have time to achieve & learn to preserve perfection? What can they maintain while transitioning & after arriving?

To attract members, offer long-term updateable positives by explaining necessary achievements & how you mitigate side-effects/adverse reactions.

As sacrifices/losses increase, people feel less control & to recover control, they might lower expectations or overcompensate with impossible/impractical plans. If people feel they’ve hit bottom, they might try overcompensating with over-the-top schemes.

Don’t Let Side-Effects Hide Behind Benefits.

Doomtopians appreciate mass production, but environmentalists noticed negative causes & effects despite manufacturers’ coverups.

This analogy might seem extreme compared to Earthlings’ experiences. Numerous pressures squeeze members who struggle to escape doom while wondering if utopia is personally reachable. Is worse doom likely?

While preparing for utopia, people must decrease/block potential & current risks plus maximize focus for practical step-by-step progress. People must acknowledge negatives, resist distractions & overcome limitations.

External evaluative opinions might be approval/disapproval. People must differentiate authentic, understanding helpers from critics feeling self-justified in misdirecting people. If prospects want second opinions, provide criteria for your advice to help people compare.

To varying degrees, environmentalists realize escape feels “more right” than staying. They might feel plans are right but functional hope inspires maximized implementations.

Necessary quick actions bring imperfections. How much might imperfectly filled gaps disrupt progress? Multiple imperfect mitigations delay progress. Which imperfections/gaps are too minor for time-consuming mitigations?

Each progressive step makes escape more possible/practical & stopping feels more impractical.

Abundant, accurate possibilities can spawn customization ideas & confident clarity by using facts for checking expectations/hopes? Wishfulness can bias factchecking.

Did We Go Too Far?

Are suitable planets close to/far from stars? Is the next solar system better? People’s wishfulness may displace facts, especially without verifiable answers.

Tolerable early experiences could indicate travelers’ comfort will continue, though unknown trouble is barely predictable. Each day contributes to journey success/human survival or ???

While checking/rejecting options, travelers should determine occasionally: Is this adequate option more tolerable than further travel?

If better destinations necessitated expending more resources for further travel, which “better” options would be justified? Would travelers run-out of resources after passing good-enough options?

Polluters claim there’s no problem, but corrections or escape-preparations can start if problems emerge. Sensitive environmentalists’ declining health is enough evidence about problems. Necessary work should proceed while environmentalists’ health allows.

They identified New-topia as their comparison standard or potential destination since they don’t want to wander. Hesitant environmentalists want definite primary & potential subsequent/backup destinations.

Bold travelers want to evaluate New-topia &, if necessary, develop criteria for others. While traveling, they can observe potential destinations.

Some environmentalists were born into Doomtopian pollution, so “Less Pollution” is their main criterion. Their satisfaction might fade as they reconsider bypassed optional destinations.

Despite limited observations, travelers’ Fear-Of-Missing-Out could induce regret of losing their best option if they don’t turn-back.

Even when nearly persuaded, despite some uncertainties/doubts, people might mentally accelerate into decisions. Limited resources make simultaneous positions hard/impossible. HERE decisions block THERE positions.

Businesses should specialize in helping customers stay/maintain HERE, transition to THERE or stay/maintain THERE. Marshall Goldsmith emphasized "What Got You HERE Won't Get You THERE". Indecision & wishy-washiness strand people. (Check etymology “decider”: cut-off)

If THERE is out-of-reach from HERE, “stay” decisions keep THERE out-of-reach. Without supportive equipment & movements/methods, over-reaching unbalances people trying to achieve & preserve the best-of-both-worlds.

When you convincingly position yourself as essential for niche members’ positions/transitions, help customers recognize which options to release. If people choose inadequate stuff & methods, decisions bring more risk than indecision.

Individual problems might not seem threatening. Each additional risk can aggravate others. So despite apparent “weaklings” exaggerating problems, evaluate total stresses & determine how retailer teammates can collaborate to enlighten customers & lighten loads.

What would best create/restore peacefulness? Can customers afford to produce & preserve best, better or good benefits? Example: As natural problems worsen, customers can implement best options, but storms/earthquakes easily destroy humans’ best. Affordable options are insurable or recoverable with remaining funds.

If customers can’t afford insurance or recovery after paying high prices, offers are beyond customers’ budgets. While consulting, customer integrators would recommend good or better benefits, so customers retain budgets for recovery.

Build rapport/trust by reviewing pros & cons specifically for customers.

Some retailers would push for maximum purchases. Some customers could pay 50% more & achieve (without maintaining) 50% more satisfaction or durability.

Consultation: ‘To be fair, let’s explore whether (situation) might be improved enough to be worth (price). Higher investments bring durable improvements, but not always higher satisfaction.’

Emerging problems can disrupt preparations for/journeys to opportunities. How do you justify prioritization of your offers? What do you help customers avoid while they remedy problems &/or pursue opportunities?

It’s easy for retailers to consider their offers more important than other priority fulfillments. Though Doomtopian environmentalists would prefer using their knowledge to decrease pollution. Polluters aren’t cooperating so remediation is an unrealistic priority.

While developing offers, think about niche members who lack cooperation & all necessary knowledge about products/services & recognizing bargains. Advantage offers express your expertise & understanding of members’ conditions to build rapport & members’ Awareness/Attention/Interest/Desire/Action (AIDA).

Claude Hopkins described advertising as salesmanship. How would you react if anybody showed you a product picture & price, then expected payment? Would you expect members to sacrifice time, energy & money to buy without seeking product information?

People have many priorities. Retailers should serve (with explanations) before expecting payments. Though consumers can research products without customer integration guidance, why should anybody return to your product/price “offers” after finding information?

Consider how stress skews perceptions. If you haven’t established a positive interpersonal history, how do you expect to influence perceptions?

Some consumers feel “everybody” tries picking their pockets. Product-X $35 “offers” to trade consumers’ money/debt for brand-names without justifications.

Instead of whetting appetites with positive experiences, product-price listings can feel like pocket-picking for feeding retailers’ hunger.

Without recognition of potential offer advantages, people perceive benefits of keeping money in their pockets. Empty pockets don’t provide security because people need money for certainty &/or value-building projects with maintenance plans.

Uncertain people don’t know how they’ll obtain, maintain &/or regain value after wasting money on product-price “offers”.

Advantage offers explain reasons to compare gaps/problems with combined benefits of products & guided methods before suggesting value exchanges. Descriptive explanations help people identify opportunities/troubles & plan steps while easing cognitive labor.

Position your store & offers in lives how goals position members.
